Iain has been a medical Doctor for over 40 years and worked in four countries during this time.
Iain’s initial qualification was from England and he emigrated to New Zealand in the 1970’s. His first GP experience was gained in the Bay of Plenty and Northland. In the early 1980’s he gained a Fellowship in General Practice. His experience and qualifications were recognised by the Royal New Zealand College of General Practioners and allowed him to be involved in training many young GP’s from the 90’s, and still enjoys training new GP’s.
In 2004 he was recruited to Western Australia to help train rural medical students and then became Medical Director to the Kimberly region. Latter he worked for six years as an emergency doctor in rural Australia.
Family in Rotorua, has now led him back to to permanently live in New Zealand and continue his long standing skill in the art of general practice at Tiaho Medical Centre.
