My name is Grace Malcolm. I come from Rotoiti, Rotorua. My family and ancestral ties to Te Arawa stretch back to the landing of the Te Arawa canoe at Maketu.
I practiced in Rotorua for a short stint from 2003 to 2007 then moved to work in outback Australia for the following ten years. I returned to Rotorua in November 2017 as my parents are aging and to help care for them along with others in my family. My working background is general practice and emergency medicine. I have been recognised as a Fellow in general practice.
I look forward to working in Rotorua once again.
